Ebey's Landing

Prairie bluff, lagoon, beach

One of the best walks in the state that also happens to be excellent birding: historic prairie on the bluff top, the Strait wide open below, and a return along the beach past Perego's Lagoon. Come for the view and get the birds as a bonus.

Effort Moderate · 5.6 mi bluff loop Steady 260 ft climb to the bluff, then loose cobble on the beach return.
When to go Clear days for the raptor watch. Spring for the prairie.
