Restored Duwamish shoreline

A small restored pocket of the Duwamish shoreline where native plantings are bringing the birds back: Ospreys and kingfishers over the river, shorebirds on the mud at low tide, sparrows in the young habitat. Short, quiet, and a hopeful piece of a working river.

Effort Easy · short river loop Short, level walking loop through native plantings to the river bank.
When to go Mornings for songbirds in the plantings; any tide for the river. Quiet on weekdays.
Access Free small lot at 4500 Duwamish River Trail. No restrooms. Formerly Terminal 107 Park. Directions eBird hotspot
